pain in the ass
Jan. 12th, 2025 01:09 ami had an appt with a urologist in december, he put me on some new medicine because i'm still dealing with prostatitis symptoms. i do feel better than i did when it got diagnosed but lately the pain and discomfort has been increasing again. i didn't really expect to be dealing with these kind of problems at my age but i'm also not necessarily young anymore. i've had recurring pain in my groin area since i was like 18 or 19. my doctors over the years have just given me antibiotics for it. i have that type of pain along with pain in my lower back and prostate area. i have a follow up appt a couple days after my birthday. i'm not sure what my other options are, if any. i'm just grateful the pain isn't like it was in august and september.
i've been seeing a counselor since september. it's been a big help for me to talk to someone again. i'm also happy that i got back on meds, for the most part. i've gained a lot of weight in the last few months. i don't think it's necessarily from the meds and i was pretty underweight for awhile. despite the pain, i need to exercise more. i could also eat better foods and not stress eat.
overall life is okay. i'm grateful to have a place to stay. i look forward to working toward goals that i have.
